Cependant l\u2019\u00e9mergence est encore timide au milieu du IIe si\u00e8cle, ce qui ne peut que valoriser le&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;tournant ir\u00e9n\u00e9en&nbsp;\u00bb, Ir\u00e9n\u00e9e \u00e9tant le premier \u00e0 pr\u00e9senter une r\u00e9ception globale du corpus paulinien. Puis s\u2019impose Orig\u00e8ne et d\u2019abord avec son attention \u00e0 l\u2019ensemble de l\u2019Ecriture, en raison aussi de ses commentaires des \u00e9p\u00eetres de Paul, en particulier de l\u2019\u00e9p\u00eetre aux Romains. Avec lui, le corpus paulinien est, &#8211; et sera de plus en plus apr\u00e8s lui -, la source par excellence de la dogmatique chr\u00e9tienne.
