La premi\u00e8re rappelle comment l&rsquo;ancienne justification de Dieu a r\u00e9duit le mal subi ou mal \u00eatre \u00e0 un mal agir, un non \u00eatre, un mieux \u00eatre. La seconde montre comment une attention vive \u00e0 la souffrance s&rsquo;y oppose terme \u00e0 terme. Celle-ci constitue un mal originaire. Elle pr\u00e9sente une forme d&rsquo;\u00eatre. Elle n&rsquo;entre en aucun ordre universel. La troisi\u00e8me partie suit quelques tentatives de la th\u00e9ologie philosophique contemporaine, en particulier avec la pens\u00e9e du process, pour \u00e9chapper \u00e0 une impossible conciliation entre la bont\u00e9 et la puissance de Dieu. La derni\u00e8re partie reprend, dans l&rsquo;horizon de la souffrance&nbsp;; la foi chr\u00e9tienne dans l&rsquo;Esprit, le Christ et le P\u00e8re&nbsp;: Dieu est contre, avec et par-del\u00e0 la souffrance..
