Ils permettent de constater les mani\u00e8res diff\u00e9rentes de pratiquer l\u2019ex\u00e9g\u00e8se biblique en Europe comme outre-Atlantique (la lecture post-coloniale ou post-moderne y est plus en faveur que sur notre continent\u2026). M\u00eame si l\u2019histoire r\u00e9dactionnelle de ces livres reste \u00e9tudi\u00e9e, l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat se porte souvent sur l\u2019\u00e9tat final du livre, mettant en valeur sa fonction de communication. Une approche rh\u00e9torique des textes proph\u00e9tiques reste \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser pour nombre d\u2019entre eux. Un int\u00e9r\u00eat se porte \u00e9galement sur l\u2019histoire de la r\u00e9ception de ces oracles, tant dans le juda\u00efsme (notamment dans la litt\u00e9rature qumr\u00e2nienne) que dans le christianisme. L\u00e0 encore, de nombreuses \u00e9tudes restent \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser.
